DISCARDED
go ahead,
say it,
don’t hold back,
say what you have to say
“unwelcomed,
disregarded,
abandoned,
discarded,
unwanted,
unneeded,
unsought,
ignored,
abused,
used.”
thanks for your honesty
at least you’re accurate
at least you take time to pretend
that you care
don’t mind me
just waiting for my ride
to my last stop where i’ll go
maybe i can be pretty again
spread the word
tell people what tis’ about
bring awareness
their turn may be next
yep, but what good is their honesty if they are unwilling to do anything about it…i think it is hard to crawl out of those spaces once we get there sometimes..
Don’t mind me, just waiting for my ride. … I like that. 🙂
Great power in this. Hard hitting.
Fresh, strong attack; good writing.
enjoyed this,
letting out aloud is necessary at times.
Interesting how a little red couch could evoke so much ~ Excellent “job” with the photo!
Blunt and powerful…wonderful job
That last stop … who knows what lurks? I really enjoyed this ….
Well-written. Honesty is something we all need.
thank you, everyone, for your wonderful comments here. i will be making my round soon too. thank you for visiting mine.
Don’t be too sure of yourself, your turn’s next. Gosh, this is a tough world huh!

Evocative. Last ride eh? Hmm.. guess we’re all for it someday..
“Waiting for my ride.” That phrase was so well-thought! I liked the change from rant to bitter advice. Cool response.
A fine strong poem. Excellent.
i hope and pray so too, that she returns as a beautiful being from there. beautiful poem.
waiting for a ride – that’s very optimistic, a lot of these couches just stay where they are
